Board of Directors

Giridhar Sanjeevi is the Non-Executive Chairperson of our Company and an Independent Director on our Board. He holds a post graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has over 25 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining our Company, he was associated with Indian Hotels Company Limited, as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Amagi Corporation, an unlisted subsidiary of the Company in the USA. 

Baskar Subramanian is one of the Promoters, the Managing Director and CEO of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Prior to the formation of our Company, he was associated with ImpulseSoft Private Limited as its Chief Technology officer. He was also associated with Texas Instruments (India) Limited. He has over 23 years of experience in the technology and media sector.

In India, he is a designated partner at Vinculum Advisors LLP. He also serves as a director on the Boards of overseas unlisted subsidiaries of the Company, viz., Amagi Media Labs Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), Amagi Media UK Private Ltd (UK), Amagi Eastern Europe d.o.o. za uslage (Croatia), Amagi Canada Corporation, Inc. (Canada).

Arunachalam Srinivasan Karapattu is one of the Promoters, and a Non-Executive Director and President – Global Business of our Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. Prior to the formation of our Company, he was associated with ImpulseSoft Private Limited as a Program Manager. He was also associated with SiRF Technologies (India) Private Limited as a Senior Manager (Business Development), Integrated Decisions and Systems as a Senior Engineer (Software Development) and Texas Instruments (India) Limited as a Software Design Engineer. He has over 23 years of experience in the technology and broadcasting sector.

He also serves as a director on the Boards of overseas unlisted subsidiaries of the Company in the USA, viz., Amagi Corporation and Argoid Analytics, Inc. 

Ira Gupta is an Independent Director on the Board of our Company. She holds a post-graduate diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Prior to joining our Company, she was associated with Microsoft Corporation (India) Private Limited for 11 years where she held inter alia the position of General Manager – Human Resources – India. She was also associated with GlaxoSmithKline. She has over 27 years of work experience and is currently a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company.

She is also a director on the Boards of Eicher Motors Limited, Max Estates Limited, Razorpay Software Limited and SRF Limited in India. 

Sandesh Kaveripatnam is a Nominee Director on the Board of our Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester, New York, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a Managing Partner at PI International Holdings LLC (a Premji Invest group entity) and has over 10 years of experience in private and public equity investment strategies.

He also serves as a director on the Boards of US based Companies namely Cellanome, Inc., Essor Group, Inc., Ikigai Labs Inc., Navan, Inc., Outreach Corporation, Signifyd, Inc., Sysdig, Inc., and Writer, Inc.

Shekhar Kirani Hanumanthasetty is a Nominee Director on the Board of our Company. He holds a doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a currently designated partner of Accel Partners India LLP and has been associated with Accel India Management LLP (formerly Accel India Management Private Limited). He has over 14 years of experience in leading investment in early-stage software and mobile startups.

In India, he is a director on the Board of CBS Hi-Tech Ventures Private Limited and a designated partner at Accel Partners India LLP and Accel India Advisors LLP. In the international domain, he serves as a director on the Boards of ANSR Holdings, Inc., Chargebee, Inc., Good Methods Global, Inc., and Soham, Inc., in the USA, BrowerStack Limited in Ireland, and FalconX Holdings Limited in Cayman Islands.
