They identified an opportunity to pilot Amagi’s In-Content Ads (ICA) offering, aiming to drive incremental revenue by delivering engaging ad experiences that seamlessly integrate with content rather than interrupting it.

Amagi partnered with Plex to activate squeezeback style in-content ad formats across Plex’s channel network. Amagi’s server-side technology enabled real-time personalization and seamless integration into standard ad workflows via VAST compatibility—requiring no additional development work. Plex and its partners maintained full control, customizing rules for ad frequency, permitted formats, and advertiser restrictions.

Results
